“The Rogue From Bawnogue” takes place this Wednesday 19th June and this Thursday 20th June.

We look forward to seeing you all and we hope you enjoy the night’s entertainment.

Important Note About The Concert

Parents and Guardians,

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY.

1. Timing of Arrival – Due to time for costumes and class organisation, children for scene 1 and scene 2 are to arrive at 7.00, not before, and children in the other scenes from 7.10 to 7.20. The main characters in the play are to arrive by 6.45. The concert begins at 7.30.

2. Snacks – On the night, your child will receive a snack for free, thanks to Glanmore Foods.

3. Shoes and Hair – Children are to wear light runners, not heavy shoes. Children with long hair are to have their hair off their face.

4. Reminder—No children of primary school age or younger in the audience. This is due to the limited seating each night. Your child will see the show during the day.

5. Entrance Used on the Night – Natasha and Jenny will be welcoming you in to the hall through the entrance at the Teachers’ Car Park.

6. Interval and Raffle – There will be a 10-minute interval after scene 4 when there’ll be a raffle with lots of prizes, organised by the Parents Association. Tickets are priced €2 for a strip of 5 tickets, and 3 strips for a fiver.

7. Collecting Your Child – After the whole concert is over please go out the back of the hall and then go through “the teachers’ entrance” to collect your child from your child’s classroom. For your and everyone’s safety, no-one is allowed to go through the busy backstage area (blue curtains). The main gates will be open then for you to head home, hopefully happy and proud.

8. DVDs – Two films of the Concert are being professionally recorded, one for each night. They act forever as great memories of a very special time in your child’s life. Each class will be busy on stage for about 10 minutes, acting, singing and dancing. To ensure the best possible quality we are organising professionals to do the sound and lights on both nights. You can order a DVD for €20 of the night your child was in. You can do that on the night of the concert: or you can do that in advance in school. The DVDs will be delivered to the school and given to your child.

Thank you, Martin Stuart, Concert Coordinator
