FAI Primary Schools 4th Class Boys Futsal Blitz

Today the 4^th class boys took part in the FAI Futsal Competition in the National Arena in Tallaght.

Over the previous 2 weeks we had 25 boys from 4^th class training. Today we could only bring 8 boys. Well done to all children for training and keep playing football outside and with their clubs in the Clondalkin area.

Again this year Talbot won the Futsal competition which shows the really talented footballers we have in the school.

The boys competed in a 5 team competition, winning all 4 matches on score lines of 1-0, 6-1, 4-1 and 3-0 in the final match to win the tournament.

Team: Darragh Kinsella, Seán Dunne, Sam Kavanagh – 1 goal,  Calvin Mc Cormack – 1 goal, Charlie Quinn– captain and 3 goals, Calum Clancy, David Onwuzulumba – 2 goals and Caeden Murray – competition top scorer with 7 goals.
