Dear parents of children in 6th class 2019-2020 who were due to be confirmed,
We hope you and all your family are well.
We want to let you know that we and Fr Brian (Starken) are very much still looking forward to holding a Confirmation ceremony for your child, one class at a time.
Under the government’s covid restrictions it’s not possible yet to set a date. But we want you to know that we are making your children THE priority–if the government allows churches to hold 50 people again by the end of June Talbot will organise confirmations for the 2019-2020 children as quickly as possible. The 2019-2020 6th class teachers will give you a call and at least one week’s notice.
We can’t predict with confidence exactly how the ceremony will be, but please be assured that everyone’s safety will be paramount. We will give you full details close to the day.
Each class teacher is very excited about seeing ‘their’ class again and we hope your child feels the same.
