Dear parents and guardians of children in last year’s 6th classes (2019-2020) and this year’s 6th classes (2020-2021) who were due to be confirmed,
We hope you and all your family are well.
With the good news that churches are beginning to open for confirmations, we want to let you know that Fr Brian Starken & Talbot SNS are planning to hold confirmation ceremonies in September/October, one class at a time.
For the children from last year’s 6th classes they’ll be in mid-September. And for this year’s 6th classes they’ll be in late September/early October. The exact dates and times will be set in early September, and will be posted on the school website, talbotsns.com. In addition, your child’s 6th class teacher will give you a call and at least one week’s notice; please ensure the school has your current phone number and email address. Everyone will be kept as safe possible as everything will be carried out in line with covid-safety guidelines (masks, numbers in attendance, etc).
We can’t predict with confidence exactly how the ceremony will be, but please be assured that everyone’s safety will be paramount. We will give you full details close to the day.
Each class teacher is very excited about seeing ‘their’ class again and we hope your child feels the same.
