Confirmation 2022 — Provisional Dates for Classes

The following is a copy of a letter sent home today.

Provisional Dates for Confirmation Classes 2022 

 

I’d like to advise you that the current plan is that we are HOPING to proceed and hold confirmations for the current 6^th class children before Easter, specifically on the 6^th and 7^th of April.

Very importantly, as we told the children, this is NOT definite.

IF it can go ahead on those dates, Fr Brian Starken will confirm the children as follows:

• Wednesday daytime 6^th of April: Children in Mr Carroll’s and Mr Gordon’s classes
• Thursday daytime 7^th of April: Children in Mr Coleman’s class

In the next 2 or 3 weeks, or sooner, we are hoping to hear from the Diocese of Dublin if we can go ahead on those dates. They are in charge of sanctioning Confirmation Celebrations within Dublin. We will keep you informed by letter, by Aladdin, and by news on our school website, talbotsns.com.

Meanwhile the children are busy learning about the Holy Spirit. They are preparing themselves to making a personal commitment to faith in Jesus, and to welcoming the Holy Spirit into their hearts and letting the Holy Spirit work through them.
