Work in the garden in September
When we came back to school in September the garden looked like a jungle but last week Ms Harrington’s class did a great job weeding and getting some beds ready for planting daffodils and tulips later on.

Ms Harrington’s class did a great job weeding in the garden this week and the winners were definitely Ayo and Adam, Daniel and Thomas. Look at their bucket of weeds! Ms Harrington showed great leadership and thinned out the carrots!
The Garden in June
All the plots in the garden are looking very well at the moment, We know it will look like a jungle in September but hopefully we will have lovely things to eat and cheery sunflowers to look at!
Salad Parties!
On Thursday Ms Killeen’s and Ms Nallen’s 6th classes picked and ate their salads which they had sown in the garden. Planting Sweetcorn
We’ve never grown sweetcorn before but this year Ms Cunnane’s class grew the seeds very successfully in their classroom and now we have them planted in the garden. We’re looking forward to seeing what will happen.
Ms Harrington’s class planted cabbage and carrots
Ms Harrington’s class sowed carrot seeds and cabbage plants in the garden yesterday. After that they made some daisy chains! Hopefully, we will have a cabbage and carrot party from the produce in September.
