Dear Parents/Guardians,

Just an update re the action that we are taking in relation to Covid 19:

  • All teachers have done a lesson on how to wash hands correctly with soap – palms, back of hands, fingers & nails. Please could you continue this at home.
  • All classrooms and the corridors have gel dispensers.
  • We have taken extra precautions such as extra cleaning of door handles, IT equipment, and tables

As per HSE guidelines if your child develops symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath, your child should:

  • Stay at home
  • Not go out to public places
  • Not go to school
  • Please phone the child’s GP for medical advice, rather than turning up in person.

Make sure that when you phone, mention your child’s recent travel or exposure. These health services will arrange for them to get medical help.

The H.S.E. HPSC is monitoring the situation and updating its website www.hpsc.ie daily.
