We have such great news to share!! – Talbot SNS has been awarded the GOLD AWARD from SFI Curious Minds!!!
Throughout this school year we conducted many investigations, created projects, welcomed visitors and much more; all in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths).
We showed evidence to prove that we:
- Conducted at least one hands-on investigation from each of the four curriculum strands –
- living things,
- energy & forces,
- materials
- environmental awareness and care.
- Took part in Science week
- Held 2 workshops ran by SFI Curious Minds – Climate Heroes and Plastics
- Took part in EU Code Week
- Used LEGO WeDo to created robots
- Designed and made Lava lamps
- Planted a Pocket Forest
- Designed and created paper parachutes
- Took part in Maths Week
- Did Maths trails around the school
- Showcased our work to the whole school using Zoom
