On Friday 12th of May, our school held a whole school Zoom to showcase some of the amazing investigations and projects we did in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) this year.
Every class (all 13!) shared one or more of their projects on Zoom such as:
- using circuits
- creating paper helicopters
- creating 3D shapes using marshmallows (yum!) and spaghetti
- engineering bridges that are strong
- designing and making houses
- investigating sugar content in drinks (Ribena did not do well!)
- investigating to affect of plastic on the environment
- designing and creating mazes using straws
- designing a game – picking up a Ping-Pong ball without toughing it with your hands!
- building towers using spaghetti and marshmallows!
