Ms Harrington’s class in the garden

Ms Harrington’s class did a great job weeding in the garden this week and the winners were definitely Ayo and Adam, Daniel and Thomas. Look at their bucket of weeds! Ms Harrington showed great leadership and thinned out the carrots!

The Garden in June

All the plots in the garden are looking very well at the moment, We know it will look like a jungle in September but hopefully we will have lovely things to eat and cheery sunflowers to look at!

Salad Parties!

On Thursday Ms Killeen’s and Ms Nallen’s 6th classes picked and ate their salads which they had sown in the garden. They picked lettuce, salad onions and radishes. They washed and chopped them and added some cheese and tomatoes. The finished salad was put into 2 bowls and mayonaise was added to one of them. The salad was served on slices of brown bread and all of it was eaten and enjoyed. Even some people who said they didn’t want any came back and asked for more!
