Maths Week 2022
Last week we celebrated the fun and joy of Maths. Thanks to our teachers for organising so many inspiring maths activities!
One event was our Talbot Senior Maths trail. Children got to build their maths confidence and to use their maths-eyes on this outdoor trail. We explored the following topics and skills: counting, multiplication, estimation, measurement of length, measurement of area, shape, lines and angles, symmetry and use of maths language. EU Code Week 2022
This year, we have kicked off EU Code week by starting our week with a whole school zoom!
Three teacher demonstrated how to use 3 different coding apps – Scratch Junior, Lego WeDo and Code.org
We can’t wait to start coding!
Healthy Eating Week 2022
Last week we promoted healthy eating in Talbot! Every class made something to healthy to eat such as smoothies, fruit salad, vegetable soup or potato wedges from the school garden.
