We had a fantastic day here in Talbot on Friday. Our special guest Jacob was front and centre with our cake sale! Huge thanks to all Jacobs 6th class pals and to his teacher, Mr Gordon and Wonderful SNA Val for a hugely successful and enjoyable day. Well done to everyone!
Last week in Talbot, we held a very successful Sleep Week. We spent lots of time focusing on setting up good sleep routines and checking in with ourselves to see how sleeping better made us feel each day.
On Monday, some 5th class pupils taught us about the importance of sleep for our mental health through a whole-school Zoom. Each class also watched a Talbot News Sleep Special about how sleep can affect our day-to-day lives and we had ‘Sleep Homework’ each night where we focused on setting up good sleep routines each night.
At the end of the week, we celebrated all of our hard work with a whole school Pyjama Party!
A huge well done to the whole school on making such a huge effort with their sleep! Keep it up over the coming weeks!

We had a wonderful day for our Christmas Walk on Tuesday 14th December! Sunshine, Presents and Treats! It was a lovely start to the Festive Season for our children here at Talbot!
This month, Talbot SNS are taking part in a Friendship February Challenge! For the month of February, we are focusing on what is means to be a good friend, how to include everyone and how to be kind. Every class can do three (or more) of the activities below. If they achieve three in a row, they will receive new board games for their class!
