Advice re Home Learning

All teachers understand that the home learning environment may be challenging for many families for many different reasons. The following may be a useful to guide you;

  • Set up a daily routine that suits you & your family
  • Do not force learning  ………. Avoid stressful situations if possible
  • If it’s not working out, take a break & return later.
  • Keep in regular contact with the class teacher via teachers email.
  • Do not compare what you are doing with anybody else. This is not a competition.
  • Make learning fun & enjoyable for you & your children. 
  • Hopefully the closure period will be short & we can revise work when children return to school.
  • Take good care of your health & wellbeing and that of your family at all times.

A Fun Activity for Families – Edible Art!

Why don’t you try a fun and easy activity for all ages – Edible Art!

Make some edible rainbow toast (or whatever picture you want)
All you need is:
Bread 
Milk
Food colouring
Clean Paint brush

1. Add some food colouring to a small amount of milk.
2. Paint your design carefully onto your bread.
3. Put it in the toaster.
4. Eat!

Before you eat it – Remember to post up some photos of your creative toast!
