We held Mathletics mornings this week and last for our 3rd Class parents- It was fantastic to see so many parents join their children in learning how to use Mathletics!

Mr. Carroll’s 3rd class got creative this week, making sock puppets using a variety of different materials. Have a look at how they turned out below!

During Maths Week the children made their own Figure It Out Posters using maths to assign answers to their questions.
The children made their own questions based on Multiplication, Long Division, Addition and Subtraction, Average, Fractions and Percentages.

Last Week the 4th class girls took part in the FAI Futsal Competition in Adamstown.
Over the previous 2 weeks we had 25 girls from 4th class training at lunch-time.
The girls competed in a 4 team competition and played very well, scoring fantastic goals by Libby and Lucy.
Team: Julie, Sophie, Ella, Mia – Captain of the team, Alannah, Lucy, Chloe and Libby.

All of the 5th classes made a visit to the Round Tower in Clondalkin Village this week. Amazing trip – the tour guides were a wealth of information on Medieval Ireland when the Round Tower was constructed.
