Code Week!

Check out 6th class (Mr. Gordon’s) and 4th Class (Ms. Jones) using code to draw shapes. 

FAI Primary Schools 4th Class Boys Futsal Blitz

 Today the 4th class boys took part in the FAI Futsal Competition in the National Arena in Tallaght.

Over the previous 2 weeks we had 25 boys from 4th class training. Today we could only bring 8 boys. Well done to all children for training and keep playing football outside and with their clubs in the Clondalkin area.

Again this year Talbot won the Futsal competition which shows the really talented footballers we have in the school.

The boys competed in a 5 team competition, winning all 4 matches on score lines of 1-0, 6-1, 4-1 and 3-0 in the final match to win the tournament.

Team: Darragh Kinsella, Seán Dunne, Sam Kavanagh – 1 goal,  Calvin Mc Cormack – 1 goal, Charlie Quinn– captain and 3 goals, Calum Clancy, David Onwuzulumba – 2 goals and Caeden Murray – competition top scorer with 7 goals.

Taste Test!

Mr. Gordon’s 6th Class did a fruit tasting activity! Children closed their eyes and had to taste and guess the fruit they ate!

An seachtain seo, rinneamar trí Gaeilge conas caoineóg a dhéanamh – we learned how to make smoothies in Irish this week! Agus ar an Aoine d’ólamar na caoinneóg – on Friday we made and tasted them!


Baked Oats & Jelly in Ms Treacy’s 3rd Class

On Thursday the boys and girls in 3rd Class made some healthy baked oats and sugar free jelly for Healthy Lifestyle Week with their teacher Ms Treacy and Orla. A delicious and healthy result!
