Intel Girls Book Club!

Yesterday saw the launch of our girls book club. Intel are sponsoring the club. Yesterday, Lisa, Denise and Enda from Intel came to the school with lots of different types of food for the girls to try. All of the food was from different countries to represent the countries that the girls will be reading about in the books chosen for the book club. 10X10 is the name of the charity that has been set up to encourage girls to get educated. Please have a look at their website to find out all about it – http://10x10act.org

The girls are super excited to get started!

Book Swap!

To celebrate World Book Day, children from Mr. Molloy’s class brought in a book that they have read and enjoyed. They told the rest of the class about their book and why they liked it. If another child in the class was interested in reading it, they could swap books! Such a great idea!
