Our annual Christmas Bazaar was a huge success again this year. Thank you so much to the Parents Association for organising the day.
A huge thank you to all the children who donated old toys, games, books and cakes! Overall, we raised €1900 for the school! This has been lodged to the Parents Association account and will be spent on something needed for the school this year.
All children who donated to the Bazaar were entered into a raffle. The top prize was a €30 voucher for Smyths (Thanks to a very generous mammy!) The Raffle took place straight after the Bazaar. The following children won prizes:
1st: Leah Brady (5th Class)
2nd: Ryan Hickey (3rd Class)
3rd: Rheanna Tallon (4th Class)
4th: Siobhan Kelly (3rd Class)
5th Seán Hampson (5th Class)
6th: Seána Brennan (6th Class)
7th: Megan McGrath (5th Class)
The Guess the lollipops was won by Joshua Rushe in 5th Class!
Well Done!
Tickets are still on sale for the two fantastic hampers. The Raffle will take place on the last day of school (Thursday 22nd)
The final of the Intel Mini-Scientist competition took place in Intel in Leixlip on December 2nd. It was a great occasion with the Minister of Education in attendance. The six girls were wonderful representatives for our school and enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Sr Catherine for driving us to Intel and being a great support to the children.
This year, all the staff of Talbot Senior School bought a present to make up two fabulous Christmas Hampers. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. €1 for a strip of tickets. The raffle will take place on the last day of school!
The Parents Association will be holding our annual Christmas Bazaar on Friday the 9th of December from 9.30am.

Fresh cakes can be donated the day before or on the day itself. Any child who donates cakes will receive raffle tickets to win a prize!
Children can continue to bring in donations every day this week until the Bazaar. Donations must be in a bag with the child’s name on it. They will then be given a raffle ticket and could win a prize on the day of the Bazaar.
