Intel Mini Scientist Exhibition (Science Week 2011)

On November 17th five classes participated in a science exhibition in our school hall – Ms Cunnane’s and Ms Nallen’s 4th classes and Ms Harrington’s, Mr Gilmartin’s and Mr Carty’s 6th classes.

There were 23 projects on display. Intel’s three judges were very impressed with the high standard of all the projects.

The project Do you know your music by Reece Bolger and Kerry O’Connor was highly commended.

Two of the other projects, Suspension Bridges and Rob the Robot will go forward to the Grand Final on Friday December 2nd which is taking place at Intel Ireland.

We wish them success.
